The Canalicchio di Sopra estate is one of a handful of Brunello producers that we collect in every vintage. They have produced wine since 1966 and were one of a dozen founding producers of the consorzio in 1967. While the quality of the wines has always been high, the last decade has seen it taken to even higher levels as the team begins to examine particular parcels and fine-tune some of the vinification process.
The 2019 wines represent some of the finest ever made at this storied estate, with a balance and purity to the fruit that is stunning. We were only able to secure a limited amount of these iconic wines, offered at special pricing.
