Estate History: The Grosjean Frères estate is a pioneering winery located in the remote Aosta Valley of Italy, a region nestled high in the Italian Alps near the French border. The family began transitioning their farming practices to sustainable and organic methods back in 1975, long before it was mainstream, securing their organic certification soon after. The family operates several vineyards planted on steep, south-facing slopes, cultivating both international varieties like Gamay and Petite Arvine, as well as indigenous grapes unique to the region, maintaining a deep commitment to expressing the unique Alpine terroir in every bottle they produce.
