Tasting Notes: The Ciavolich Passerina is a soft straw yellow color with delicate herbaceous notes backed by grapefruit and aromatic herbs are a prelude to a fresh, sapid drink with a mineral ending. An average of 6.000 bottles are produced.
Estate History: At 15 hectares, the Ciavolich estate in Pianella have 6 planted with Montepulciano (d’Abruzzo) and 1 with Pecorino and a touch of Passerina all varieties as pergola Abruzzese in 2000. All the rest is covered by old-century olive trees of Dritta variety from which we produce each year an olive oil completely of the territory.
