Tasting Notes: Sagrantino is an ancient varietal grown around the villages of Montefalco and Bevagna. Highly tannic while young, the aged and finished wine is intensely complex with great depth and character. The high polyphenol and tannic acid content makes it a perfect candidate for aging. This huge beast was crafted from 100% Sagrantino fruit from the hillside vineyards around the village of Montefalco.
