Tasting Notes: The Allegrini Amarone is a modernly produced style of amarone, and as such showcases very typical characteristics of dried figs, plums, and currents. Thes rich and desiccated fruit notes are coupled with a vibrant level of acidity as well as undertones of vanilla, and spice and polished, integrated tannin gained from an extensive amount of time in barrel.
Estate History: Drawing on more than six generations of Veneto winegrowing tradition and an unwavering focus on quality, Marilisa Allegrini carries on the legacy of her father Giovanni, the patriarch of the modern estate and an innovator in appassimento winegrowing in the region.
