Tasting Notes: The Faccia Brutto Aperitivo is made in Brooklyn and is a bittersweet rendition of the classic “red bitter” with tons of character. Infused with 17 fresh and dried organic botanicals such as gentian, kola nut, hibiscus and rhubarb root in non-GMO neutral grain spirit for two weeks before being dilluted with water and fresh orange peels (2 oranges per bottle!). Strained and filtered, the resulting tincture has added organic cane sugar and cochineal to achieve the classic ruby hue. Try in a Negroni or Spritz.
