Tasting Notes: Ortrugo is a local grape of Piacenza, made in sparkling, frizzante, and still forms. The wine was often disregarded, but with is bright acidty, tart green apple, peach and white flowers, its is a somewhat riper alternative to the local Malvasia. This frizzante has some RS, making for a pleasant sparkling wine that is well balanced.
