Tasting Notes: The Serafini & Vidotto Pino Nero jumps from the glass with scents of mature raspberries, woodland strawberries and tamarind followed by a soft flowery note of violets. Later there are complex notes of eucalyptus and dark chocolate together with candied citrus fruits.
Estate History: Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto, oenologists and farmers, founded the winery in 1986 at Nervesa della Battaglia, under the ruins of the Abazia (old Abbey), a place where between 1551 and 1555 Monsignor della Casa had written il “Galateo”, on the territory of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, which has ever since been famous for its red wines.
